Break The Loop is a minimalist 2D mystery puzzle game that challenges you to question what you’re really doing — and why you keep doing it.
You awaken in the same room over and over again. Familiar walls, the same cold silence, and a nagging feeling that you’re wasting precious time.
Move forward. Collect the keys. Avoid the traps. But remember: not every door leads somewhere worth going.
How long will you keep repeating yourself before you decide to break the loop?

Install instructions
- Download the ZIP file and extract it to a folder of your choice.

Open the extracted folder.

Run the executable file named GMTK-GameJam2025-LoopGame.exe to start the game.

No installation is required.

Make sure all files and folders are in the same directory as the executable.

This game does not require any additional libraries or programs to run.

For the best experience, play with headphones and in fullscreen.

I loved the game and the whole story involved, including the slap in the face that the creator gives us at the end of the game, awesome!! The soundtrack is really engaging and addictive, I can't stop singing "break the loooop", thank you for that!! I can't wait for more of your games, or maybe even a sequel to this one??!!
